Alaina Brodar
Alaina has been practicing yoga since age 15, and continues to find deeper meaning and complexity in her practice as the years go by. After 20+ years of practice, Alaina decided it was time to share yoga with others in 2024 and completed a 200 Hr Teacher Training at Center Yoga. She started teaching a few days later and has been teaching ever since. Alaina completed a 300 Hr training in 2025 with Dianne Bondy in the Yoga for Everyone program, and she is also trained in Trauma-Informed Yoga (TCTSY) and Chair Yoga (Accessible Yoga).
Alaina strives to make her classes accessible and meaningful by offering options and variations, using inclusive language, and encouraging students to explore their internal experience. She sees yoga as a path to self-transformation and greater service to others. Alaina’s 15+ years of working in mental health and social service and two MA degrees in psychology have informed her interest in the emotional and psychological aspects of the practice. Alaina is also a Reiki Master, and in her spare time she enjoys reading, spending time in nature, and making art with friends.
