Kirtan with Shyama Chapin
Saturday, October 29, 7-8:30 pm
Come be part of the choir as we sing sing sing our hearts out. Kirtan is call and response chanting and fun for all. No prior experience required. Come for the fun, stay for the love. Bring the little ones.
Focus of the Month for October
Feet / Sthira Sukham Asanam
Our feet (pada) are the anatomical foundation for our bodies in standing poses. Amazingly, even in poses when we are not standing, attention to the feet and their position can help us execute the asanas with precision, and help us protect joints such as the knees. We will also study Sutra II:46 of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras to anchor our minds on and off the mat during the month of October. Read more...
